Welcome to KyMel, Inc!
KyMel, Inc is a non-profit whose mission is to provide connecting experiences for families on the cancer journey with an ultimate goal of improving the health of children and adolescents with cancer. We offer two summer camp experiences. Camp Hope, a summer camp for youth who have, or have had, cancer and Camp SIBsational, a summer camp for the siblings of youth with cancer.
Camp Hope takes place each June at Camp Aldrich near Claflin, Kansas. Accredited by the American Camp Association, Camp Hope is open to children and teens between the ages of 5 and 17 years. We also offer a day camp starting at age 4 for youth who are too young or simply unable to attend the full week of camp. We provide free bus transportation from Kansas City, Wichita and Topeka.
Camp SIBsational takes place at Camp Wood near Emporia, Kansas. It is for kids and teens between the ages of 5 and 17. It is the first sibling-only camp of its kind in the region.
Kamp KyMel is a virtual camp experience that brings the joy and connectedness of camp to campers in their home or hospital bed.
